Water Works provides consulting engineering services for water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewage pump stations, water booster stations, and other water and wastewater facilities throughout the Southwestern United States.
Minimum Education:
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or similar discipline and/or Civil specific experience.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of design utilizing Revit.
Civil 3d, Plant 3d, MicroStation or BIM 360 experience a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
) Skills Required:
A working knowledge of architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
Must have a working knowledge CADD, design standards and drawing file set-up requirements.
Ability to generate and complete readable, clear, and well-organized drawings, plans and details from design calculations, sketches, and notations.
Ability to work to client defined requirements in the preparation of design and construction documents.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in fast passed environment.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Must have good communication skills.
Open to learning and asking questions.
Able to think critically and work to understand the why of the work that they are doing.
Key Job Elements:
Responsible for following client-specific CADD standards and procedures, as well as industry standards.
Assist engineers with project schedule and budgetary control.
Assist engineers and senior technicians in resolving technical problems.
Work directly on project assignments.
Back check finished drawing against markup and CAD standards.
Responsible for meeting deadlines agreed upon with the project managers, and if necessary to work overtime to meet project demands.
Take responsibility for the development and coordination of small drawing sets.
